The Homecoming Workshop

Belonging Without Self-Betrayal

For multicultural women who are excellent at their work, exhausted from performing “fine”, and ready to return to their voice, body and story.

A trauma-informed, culturally grounded workshop drawn from Homecoming. Together, we’ll explore why belonging can feel like self-betrayal, what your nervous system may be carrying beneath the composure, and how to begin coming home to yourself.

This is for you if...

You are tired of being praised for coping when what you want is to come home to yourself.

  • You are excellent at your work, but exhausted by who you have to become to do it.
  • You leave meetings thinking about what you did not say.
  • You code-switch between cultures, rooms, families and versions of yourself.
  • You have been praised for being strong, capable or composed while privately feeling disconnected from yourself.
  • You are tired of confidence advice that ignores culture, trauma, migration and survival.
  • You want language for what your body, voice and nervous system have been carrying.

What we will explore

A gentle map for returning without abandoning your complexity.

The Lens

Why you learned to become smaller, quieter or easier to belong.

The Map

What your nervous system may be doing underneath the over-functioning, people-pleasing and composure.

The Homecoming

What it means to begin returning to your own voice, body and truth without abandoning your culture, history or complexity.

What this is not

This is not a confidence workshop.

It is not a generic wellbeing session. It is not a Western coaching model applied to a different body, accent or cultural history.

It is trauma-informed, culturally grounded and built from lived experience; for women who are carrying more than most rooms know how to hold.
